Would this be a new trail die?. Cant find anything that goes back this far so I dont know..ANY HELP?

Not a trail die. I believe this is just a serious case of Die Deterioration and metal flow.

Jason: That is die flow/wear toward the rim. Usually it is shown on the fields and in later die states the extreme die wearing next to the devices to the rim. Trails are found on zincolns after the first squeeze process . They are also found on other denominations as well, but the exact date is not for sure. But they are design moved from the hub process transferring lines from the edges of the devices. Usually in the same direction, but I've heard of it happening in a second direction BJ Neff will correct me on this if I'm incorrect. He is the expert on these. But yours is not trails.

coop, these trails are being found on pre 82 also. Bob Piazza recently found one on a 1961 proof.
