Nickel looks like PMD on the rim...to me

On the Cent, most of the copper is moved to the obverse side to fill in Abes bust, many would say it's a slight Greaser, but it's not..both are spender to me

Yes on the cent, the letter O of OF seems to have been not struck up due to a little grease in the die.

The nickel shows damaged in the center and coin machine wrapping damage through the lettering but it also seems to show a laminated planchet and that may be what is causing the deformity at the rim. A icture of the edge at that point may be informative.
