It's just weird that it's only on the back side and the letters aren't messed up or anything...I could see damage to a single side - as for the letters in "Freedom" and "Unity," I would've thought they'd be distorted or at least something close

Not the same thing on the last two images. It looks more like contact marks on the obverse sides. But neither has a premium. Save the best coins, spend the rest. Damage is not a mint error.
