The rim bump at 8 o'clock and the wear of "Liberty" into the rim makes me think it is a little steep at 24$

I would buy a 27s with a full horn for $22 every day of the week and twice on Tuesdays.

I'll say VF-30, don't see a clear full horn. Edge bruise detracts.
Rest in Peace

I would buy this coin for $22 every day of the week and twice on Tuesdays. Looks like a clear full horn to me, even taking into account that this date is typically weakly struck. A vf30 coin wholesales for over $40 and a vf25 coin over $30, and I think this grades better than that, so no idea what all the fuss is about.

Then by all means get it TPG'd!

The coin is what it is. You asked for opinions and now you wanna argue about the opinions you received?

To me it's ugly, poorly struck (or worn), damaged and worth nowhere near 24$ or 22$ or whatever you paid for it.

However, it's your money and you can do whatever you want.

Part of a conversation is listening to opinions that differ from yours. I listened to yours and offered mine. Not sure why you expect that I should listen to your opinion and refrain from offering mine.

I understand some people dont want to have a conversation and just want to feel they are right all the time. I was under the impression that this was a discussion forum.

And yes, I will spend my money based on my thoughts, although I take others' thoughts into account. I dont TPG coins worth less that $100. I often just get opinions here and some are clearly better than others.

There is more to an EF than just the horn. The shank, hump and head hair detail on this coin all show considerable loss of detail that cannot be brushed off due to striking weakness, imo.
