WOW first thought is although I have a 17 ty1 on yours I can clearly see why the type two was necessary. Will have to come back to see what everyone else has to say about this one...

Not sure what this is. A hit? A scratch? Looks like a nice FH! MS 65 66? Nice coin!

USSID18 not a hit or scratch part of the design element see a small nic to the left on the wall possibly has to be at least 65fh.

What is the backstory on the coin? Looks like MS66 with a shot at 67. Beautiful.

Had to look at a high ms coin myself to see that the hit in question is essentially a hem on the gown. Is this coin in a slab seems like I possibly see plastic around it in the photo...update requested...
Is this a grade test for the forum? A coin you own or intend to purchase? a little backstory please the coin is exceptional.

That is a fold or "gather" in the gown.
I found an image on the NGC site.

Not mine, but may be at some point. It is in NGC plastic.

I am really struggling with the photos . . . I was going to post this photo USSID18 to show the detail of the gown.

To be clear, the detail photo is a "stock" photo, not the actual coin.
Rest in Peace
