Which do you like better and why, first coin or second coin:

Still considering this first one for sale:
Choose-The-Nicer-Coin:-1927-D-Mercury-Dime
Choose-The-Nicer-Coin:-1927-D-Mercury-Dime

Just found this second one out in the world:

Choose-The-Nicer-Coin:-1927-D-Mercury-Dime
Choose-The-Nicer-Coin:-1927-D-Mercury-Dime

The first coin seems to have a much better overall strike and better surfaces, but less luster. CCF folks had thought low to mid AU on the first coin. So is the second coin MS with all that luster? Thanks.

Personally I think the top one is the best looking, I feel that, though it does appear to a more "muted" appearance it likely has more complete luster and would like grade higher too.

The other one, as nice looking as it is likely has light wear as the luster looks disturbed and it appears to have possibly been mishandled at some point in time.

First one is lifeless, second one has Die Deterioration and lots of scattered marks, especially on the neck. Not really crazy about either.

I'm with coinfrog: neither. Second one looks as if it's been cleaned with a wire brush, first one hasn't been photographed as well as the second one (and may be hiding issues).

I really don't like the photos but if I had to chose I'd go with #1.
