Hi there, I am brand new to this forum so I hope I'm doing right. I came across this in some of my change today and saw this interesting thing. It is a 1987D Quarter that appears to have many parallel lines or streaks that go across it (most visible on the reverse but still visible on the obverse near the in good we trust). I was wondering if this was possibly an error or just something that happened after it left the mint.

I believe it is either PMD or a impartial metal mixture.

Just a homeless coin that now is stained and eventually turning back to gray. Spendable.
