@face, the different color may be due to a slight alloy variation, but more likely is a difference in environmental exposure. You could always weigh this Cent to ensure that it isn't some sort of off-metal strike.

Normal coin, just some sort of unknown environmental exposure.  to the CCF!

Plus with the microscope and screen shots the images are basically coming through (at lest on my screen) as pretty much black and white or grey scale images. Can't tell one thing about the color.

I don't know what the strange lines are, but otherwise looks like a normal 54-S.

The die that struck your coin is showing extreme die wear on the devices in the closest direction of the rim. (A lot of the 1950's wheat cents look like this or even worse)
