Were the 2006 D Wj nickels minted in the gold color or is this natural toning? I tried to search for the answer. Curious bc the Monticello ender seems to be in between the silver color and the gold color ender (as if lightly toned). Considering opening the roll based on responses.

it's naturally toning, due to the ends being exposed.. Nothing to worry about, the coins behind the end coins, will be nice and shiny..

Looks like toning to me (although whether it was helped or not I have no idea).

Thanks for the responses , wonder why the 2006 P roll didn't tone the same? The two rolls have been stored together all these years!
