I see doubling on the initials below Lincolns bust. And I see pieces of the die lodged in the rim. Not sure if that qualifies as a Cud?

Sorry but it does not and those are not pieces of the die embedded in this coin. Rather those are gouges (damage) and you are seeing the underlying zinc core poking through from the copper plating. I'd recommend you spend a little time at the excellent website cuds-on-coins.

Incuse marks on a coin is 99% of the time, damage to the coin. (1% of the time it can be a striking issue) Your coin is showing damage. Note how the affected area your looking at flow past the edge of the coin? That shows it was done after the strike. If it were a die issue, it would be incuse on the die, raised on the coin like a die would show:
