Ive never seen something like this on a coin. Two very raised areas on reverse. The raised areas look very similiar to one another. No damage on obverse. I'm curious if anyone has encountered anything like this before.
My guess would be a very dramatic interior die break. Any thoughts?

Interesting. Definitely looks like something that couldn't happen at the mint as far as I know, but I'll let others chime in on it.

Heat damage, the heat caused the clad layer to bubble.
