Just wanted to share this with everyone. This Numismatic Grading Coin company even uses the same logo as NGC. I'm honestly surprised they didn't put MS70

At least, the slab will reasonably protect the coin!

What can NGC do about this? The fake even has the big Circle C for copyright.

I think that this might be copyright infringement.

You can't copyright trade dress. It could be trademarked, but that's not going to provide a lot of protection against some guy living in mom's basement...

Go out to USPTO and search TESS for trademarks owned by "Numismatic Guaranty Corporation of America" - it's an interesting list.

That is hilariously bad. I don't think a single collector is gonna be fooled by it. It isn't even a replica, it's just trying to be like them.

They even appear to have their own grading scale, looks like an XF coin stuck in that slab. Maybe they give these out at Halloween or use as jokes at the LCS. Perhaps there is chocolate inside the foil wrapper.

These two have the answer.
The slab was supposed to read:
"MGC" ......... Momsy-matic Grading Confusion

It was in a listing of a large collection of coins. I would have got it just for the fun of it, but the lot already sold.
