D/D East CCW......maybe a new rpm...or MD with circulation wear(hits) and flattening..........others?

I don't see an increase in the size of the D. Looks like MD or PMD to me.

Kevin 118!that doesn't look like a die crack. It's something that happens to zinc coins. Next time start yourself a new post and you'll get better responses

@wilburton, in addition to the split plating, I agree that the mintmark most likely took a hit rather than being an RPM. Of course, send it in to varietyvista for confirmation if you want.

@kevin, welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that best practice is to start your own thread with new coin--that helps us when we are searching for a specific item. That looks like what could be a linear plating bubble on your cent. What year is it dated?

Ok yes no prob. Try to depress this linear region with a wooden toothpick. My guess is that in at least some areas, it will "dent".
