1911 Shield Nickel Struck Multiple Times

Michael C Valued Member United States 219 Posts	Posted 01/05/2020 02:57 am When I bought it from the pawn shop for scrap I did so because it didn't look like a normal worn coin. The extremely worn parts on the obverse are from 2oclock to 7 o'clock. The reverse is almost completely gone but I can see in the right light an outline repeating itself. So I did my photo app thing and saw that it was struck and rotated multiple times. Report this Post to the Staff

Since you used a "photo mixing" program it's hard to tell if that one is unaltered. Maybe post an unaltered image of the obv & rev? (Image 3,4 & 5 look like Jackson Pollack creations) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow. Report this Post to the Staff
