Especially since most of us in the U.S. never learned much about New Zealand history  I don't know much about Vatican coinage, but it looks like the lower denominations changed in lockstep with Italy (to stainless steel) during the war, but not this 5 lire type.

That's me enlightening the world on my beautiful country. Sadly come 1933 and it will all be over  Some of my posts are too blabby though and I will cut it back.   Here's a 9 Piastres of Cyprus. This was the currency previous to the mils and lira of 1955. The coin is shilling sized (180 Piastres = £1) and another product of The Royal Mint in the UK.
