I see very few world coins made out of brass. Not sure why. It makes a very pretty coin. And they seem to hold up over time. But I only have two. So if you've got some world brass, I would love to see it. I'll start out with my two.

Brass coins look nice when fresh but they do not age gracefully. They tarnish rapidly and get those ugly spots.

The only ones I know of are 1944-1946 Lincoln Cents.
They were made from cartridge cases from the war.

I did a search on Numista for "Brass" and came up with 643 pages of response, so there are plenty out there.

1943 Canada 5 Cents. This is made from tombac, which is a brass alloy.
