Got this a while back. I really like it and it is an upgrade going into my Dansco. I haven't jail broken it yet. Any discussion appreciated!!

I'd say VG-8, nice and original.

I have this one at VG10. not often you see an early classic head with a decent uncorroded planchet

A wholesome VG8. Nice coin you have there.

Thanks for the replies. I do like this coin. I didn't get a "deal" on it or anything. I would agree with most here that it is a solid/textbook VG-8 and that is exactly what ANACS gave it.

jpbone, I have a VG8 as well, comparable level of detail except yours has better colour and a nice, clear date. I actually like yours example better

GERMANICVS, Good looking coin! My other 1809 is an AG-3 cleaned but has decent color. This is a big upgrade for me and it looks good in my 7099 Dansco.
