Here is one of mine. It's a good one, but ugly!

What's-Your-Ugliest-Coin? What's-Your-Ugliest-Coin?
Waiting to see yours.

I agree, overall it has pretty nice detail remaining, I was referring more to the corrosion. Ya, yours is pretty ugly.

Looks like that was immersed in salt water springcypress. I'd say that coin has seen much better days.

I love that 1914-D!

My choice circulation find is a victim of someone's chemistry set , with some of the copper core showing through (mostly in the flat areas).

Thanks Dustin! I couldn't resist picking this one up, it's so bad. It's one of my favorite coins in my collection. I think I paid $1 for it at a flea market.
Rest in Peace

I have a handful of leprotic-looking late-date Memorial cents dug out of my rental yard that are so scary that I don't DARE post them here, lol.

Here's the ugliest coin I've ever seen and most badly-damaged, barring some left on railroad tracks; it's even wrinkled!:

If you look really, really hard, you can see that this is a 1942-S Jefferson nickel. I'm not sure what was used to wreck this coin, but it looks deliberate, although not with a firearm. it looks as if the coin was struck at least twice. (And please excuse the poor photography - I had to handhold for this one.)
