I agree, nice toning on edges too.

It is at least AU and could even be UNC, I find it hard to grade Edward above VF, but all that hair detail and no real wear (Is it rubbing or the finish).

Yours honestly is the best Edward Halfcrown I have seen for a while, its stunning. Most Edwards I see are very worn.

1902 a good year to get a lovely piece like this at a good price.
Extensive as my new collecting fad of Halfcrowns is, I am yet to add an Eddie.

You should be pleased with it.
All of the King's beard detail is there.
Nice luster under an even patina, to go with it.

I have an example, with almost all of the beard detail.
This example better than mine!
