Off-Center-Error?

Off-Center-Error?

Would this be an off-center error? I've been roll-diving for over 5 years, and this is the only eye-catching error I've found. If it is, please tell me, or otherwise it's going into the zinc penny bucket.

It is very hard to tell since the pics are so small and you only show the obverse. If it is off center, it should be equally so on both sides. If only the obverse appears to be off center, then it would be a simple case of misaligned dies(MAD) which happens from time to time and is not considered to be an error unless severe enough for design details to be missing.

Right-o, the reverse side is complete, even with the rim, so I think it is just misaligned. Thanks for telling me. Guess it's going back to the zinc bucket.

Also, what do you use to host pictures? I know they're a bit small, but I think that's the limit the hosting site lets me to use.

Thanks!

Yup, minor misaligned die. These are pretty common. The ones to watch for are the coins where the centering of the die is off enough to affect the design on the coin. Those have some premium value.
