Hello-second post! Have researched, still new at coins, but can't find reason why these 4 pennies look different. Know it's elementary, but, briefly, pls, what makes "oldest" -extreme left- (1983) look BEST, two much olders,right, (1990 & 1990D,)look "OK ", "newest" -second, left -(1993), BLAH. Rough post mint for 1993? 1983, better metal combo?TY#128579;

It is not strange for one cent coins to sit in jars for years and even decades. Then when they finally get dumped at a bank you can have fresh looking coins decades old.
