1944 Lincoln Wheat Cent Possibly Steel?

Good afternoon everyone. Yesterday I picked up 2 CR and grabbed a few coins at a time here and there. I came across a LWC in the first roll that had a dusty green look to it. I sat it off to the side and finished the rolls up today. Thinking about what I had gotten that wasn't going to be headed back into circulation, nothing stood out. Then I remembered the LWC, which I never even looked at the date. After handling it more than I should have thinking about what might be after seeing the date and what began to show under the green powder, I decided to have a seat and not getting to ahead of myself knowing about alot of fake coins being made. Off to get my scale and magnet. Here are a few images (with a picture comparing it with a recent '44 I got CRH) ....

Looks copper to me. Detecting find most likely. I can still see the copper oxidation on the reverse.
