1993 Penny Doubled In The Columns? - Coin Community Forum

bbranhma5001 New Member United States 43 Posts	Posted 01/27/2020 5:56 pm Does it count as an error coin or should I also say is it valuable when there seems to be doubling taking place in the columns? I got the best pictures I could with my phone. Sorry I don't have a coin microscope yet to get better looking pictures. I think you can still see it though. And what I did was compared it to some other 1993 pennies I have and it doesn't look like them. But is doubling in the columns rare or desirable? Report this Post to the Staff

But if you are looking at the ceiling on, it looks like Machine Doubling. (not a doubled die) If it is MD you will probably see the same on the bottoms of the devices on ONE CENT and the EPU as well. I don't really see those. So I don't know. I guess I'll keep it until I've got better equipment. I'm just going to have to buckle down and get my computer out of pawn tmi #128518;.
