1993 D Lincoln Memorial Cent Red With Cud

restlessndn New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 01/29/2020 11:47 am So here is my newest find from a local casino. This 1993 D has a Cud on the T in cent on the reverse. I am thinking on sending it in to be graded because I couldn't believe how good it looked coming from the cashiers drawer. Thoughts as to if I should get it graded? Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/29/2020 11:06 pm A Die Cud is when part of the die breaks off the outside edge of the die: With that missing area on the die, it creates a void and whatever metal is left on the planchet during the strike will fill in that area first. Because the opposite die has no pressure forming the normal opposite devices, that area on a Cud will be weak, showing just a partial affected area.
