Hello all, I haven't seen one of these posted in a while. I put it in acetone for 16 hours but it still has green toe jam! Some of the green stuff on the reverse did come off. Do I need to keep it in acetone longer or did I ruin it? thanks

LOM, I'm not seeing it being a DDR.

This one is the RPM, Not the DDR. Nice find! -CH27

Hello Jim0815,
The 501 series in the CPG are for RPMs.
it is RPM-001.
Got any recommendations for how long a coin like mine should stay in acetone?

you need to put some Verdi-Care on it. Acetone will not remove the green stuff.

Verdi to save the day. However, very nice coin still!

After the Acetone and H20 rinse, try Xylene (if you can buy it in your State)

Check it with a toothpick after 10 minutes than repeat if needed

If you still need Verdi-care, pm BadThad. Nice pick up, btw!
