@oriole - thanks. I'll keep posting pictures if I know people like them....

My real passion as a banknote and notgeld collector were the 100m silk and linen pieces, as they came with different borders/edges, which seemed to me to be ideal for collecting. I started with 1 or 2 then found a few more.......and so it went on. Eventually I wrote a catalogue about them as I had learned so much about them and knew I had one of the best collections of them in the world. You know what us collectors can be like!! We have to take it to the 'nth' degree, don't we

Besides the different borders/edges, there are also variant pieces too. I have circled where a collector can find one such difference - the number of crosses. These are catalogued variants. Number of crosses is either 12, 13 or 14!!
