These coins came as "unknown", and I have no clue as to what they are or where to start looking. I don't even know if the orientation is correct in the pictures attached. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The first is 20 x 18 mm and 4.9 gr. The second is 19 x 17 mm and 5.0 gr.

I haven't had time to look these up but I suspect they are 19th-century issues of the khanates in the Caucasus region. You may find them under Khiva, Khoqand, etc on Zeno or Numista. I think Krause may list them under their modern equivalents.

Yes, 19th century. There is a date of AH 1287 on the second coin (about 9:00, which should be rotated to the bottom). The coin matches weight and size and looks quite similar to

Thank you both for the replies. My internet connection is dropping out all the time, so I hope to follow up on this soon.

We got the internet connection sorted out, but I still don't have a proper ID on the other coin.

I seem to have had better luck with this one. It appears to be a 6 Shahi of Nadir Shah 1151 (1738). 18 mm and 6.6 gr.
