I was picking through silver dimes at a local pawn shop looking for ones in good shape and I found a really nice looking 1955 with no mint mark (Philly)

Just today I was reading an article about this Dime being the lowest mintage of ANY Roosevelt dime, and consequently having a higher value than that which would follow from only it's silver content and condition.

Info please?

To the CCF

There were over 12.4 million minted but this is the lowest minted
of any year. (I think 1950 had about 13 million)
They are selling on ebay for around $6.00 for one in nice shape
so a little more than the other years.
The valuable ones are the Full Torch

I feel like it was the 1949-S in BU condition that was the pricier of the set. I know it wasn't the lowest mintage though.
Rest in Peace

To CCF , Even though we can assume your 55-p Dime is not a Gem BU , It's always a good idea to show us for a more precise value .
As mail 187 man says ; the 1949-S in MS is worth more .

Thanks John1 for the suggestion. I'm going to hang on to this Dime and keep an eye on what happens to its value
