My local club (Fresno Numismatic Society) is putting on our annual show next weekend. This is a decent local show with 38 tables and a good assortment of dealers. Generally we have some of everything: classic and modern US coins (slabbed and raw), bullion, foreign, ancients, currency, toned coins, books and supplies. Our members usually put out some decent educational exhibits.

Adult admission is $2; kids and parking are free. We have hourly giveaways and offer a raffle with one-dollar tickets. If you buy a $5 book of 6 raffle tickets your adult admission is free. The top raffle prizes are US $20, $10, and $5 Liberty gold pieces and there are about 10 additional silver dollar prizes. Winners don't have to be present to win.

Location: Las Palmas Masonic Lodge, 2992 E. Clinton Ave., in Fresno, CA 93727. Hours: 10-5 Saturday, 10-4 Sunday.

Hope to see you there!

I am planning on being in Selma that weekend visiting a good friend and he won a raffle last year so we intend to go. Hope to see you there!

If any forum members make it, be sure to flag me down if you see me. I'll be wearing a "Past FNS President" name tag and the name is "Jim" (there are a lot of Jims on the forum, so I'm in good company). I should be roaming the bourse or hanging out at the front desk both days.

It would be nice to assign faces to some of our forum posters.

I am so there, on Saturday.

I'll be the guy in the t-shirt that makes you laugh.
