Just picked this one. I don't normally buy coins that aren't FS but this one looks cool. You can guess the grade if you want, I'll post it tomorrow!

It's an interesting DDO. I got outbid for one in that condition (with attribute listed) at $35 a while back so it's not a super expensive one but certainly adds a premium to the coin.

Yea TB I didn't even know about this variety but stumbled upon this one. It's my first under LIBERTY DDO.

The carbon spots are a bit distractive on the reverse. So it might be better to wait for a nicer example?

Coop. I don't think these come up very often already graded gem by PCGS. That's why I scooped this one for right around $20

I checked the PCGS site, they don't have one there. I was hoping to get some nice large images.

congrats.
Yep. That $20 price tag puts it in the MS66 range.

Nice variety in a slab no less, but the spots were making me think it might only be an MS65.

Thanks guys. Yea they surprise me with some of their grades. I've got a 1947 DDO with finger prints all over the reverse and I'm guessing it will pull a red designation. I looked for records of this die before I purchased it and couldn't find any. Didn't even see any posts on here about it. That's why I considered it worth the money!

This seller also has a ms66 BIE Error not labeled and a minor 1956 DDO in his listings if you guys fell like hunting!
