okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5591 Posts	Posted 02/17/2020 5:54 pm Wearwise, I think an XF-45, but it has been cleaned and there is some environmental damage and deep dings. I'd give it a "total" grade of VF-35. I don't see the D/C at the 7 tip to the denticle... is it there? Report this Post to the Staff

papeldog Pillar of the Community Canada 1923 Posts	Posted 02/17/2020 6:59 pm I'm thinking EF-45+ cleaned with scratches, it could make an AU-50 it only has slight wear on hair,cheek, and neck but with scratches I think drops in down to EF-45+ Report this Post to the Staff

bosox Pillar of the Community United States 1353 Posts	Posted 02/18/2020 10:15 pm That is why I rarely buy ICCS coins when I cannot examine them in hand. They have holdered quite a few damaged coins. I NEVER buy an ICCS coin without at least a decent photograph. Before the ICCS defenders rise up, yes PCGS also makes mistakes. The dark areas on the Obv are environmental corrosion. And there is a huge hole also on the Obv where there was corrosion that was cleaned off in back of her hair bun. I won't even mention again the dings and scratches. Why ICCS pays little or no attention to the surface, I have no idea. There's much more to a coin than how much actual wear that is there.
