Appearently on the star note checker this bill comes up as very rare. The little bit I've looked on ebay I see them going for 20 over face value which is hardly worth selling it vs just breaking it. My question is...if you had this bill would you try to sell it or just break it and move on?

The fold in the center removes it from CU.
The number is WAY too high to be of much interest.
IMO, spend it.

Must agree... condition is everything, especially with a C-note. That's too much money to tie up in saving it and no real shot in making a profit on ebay. Keep looking!

Just for your own information Chicago23, a low serial number is 999 or less. Yours is a spender.

It's from a low print run but one of almost 15 million $100 star notes printed for the district of New York. The other members also make good points, it's not uncirculated and not really a low serial number.
