This has the "floating roof" from scrubbing. I cannot find the FG (someone has better eyes) and some off rim Cuds? col. 1 & 2. Help me out here guys.I'm looking at another 1969 D with the same "FG" problem.

The missing FG is probably due to a partial grease-filled die or over-polishing of the die.

It actually is from over polishing. Note the Statue is almost missing, the 'FG' is weak and the Floating roof. PCGS at one time slabbed these, until I feel they realized it was not a single die issue, but occured on several dies. They still show it on their site, but is not worth considering. It is common when the dies get polished to remove certain devices. People go gaga over stuff like this. I just consider them a die event. Others view them like a variety. But are posted here very often. I just view them as a non collectable. (But I'm a Variety Purist)

Those are die chips on that area. More evidence the die is aging. What is a die chip? The die event starts with a die crack. Then as the dies material starts to break off the die, it does this in chips. Evetually large portions of the die breaks away and leaves a die break:
