The hunger games death matches look more like a possibility now. I wonder who we'll have to fight to get one of the 1945 silver ASE?

That said, I wouldn't be shocked if the silver coins will be 75k mintage for the "75th anniversary". Not high enough to hurt resale, but not low enough to shut out a lot of people like the 2019-S RP (unless they make the household limit 2, then it'll be Ali v Frazier II on the Mint Website).

75K sounds more realistic for the silver ASE, but I was hoping the hunger games death match would make it easier to get one by taking some of you out before they go for sale (Just in case some people don't get it, that was a joke, don't get the underwear all tangled up).

Imagine if they do 1,945 mintage of the silver..........even 7,500. 19,450? LOL
I said 75k earlier as my prediction, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they do 194,500 either.
Probably depends how much they want to appease those that were upset about the 2019-S RP issue or if they want to go full steam ahead with low mintages to create hype for the coins (they certainly did with the gold version).
P.S. That should be a poll in this thread. Guess the mintage of the silver version:
A. 1,945 B. 7,500 C. 19,450 D. 75,000 E. 194,500

I like the 75,000 number for the silver.

The listing for the silver eagle is now updated. Price $69.50. The mintage will be 75k. HH limit 1. I think this will give plenty of collectors a chance to buy one that day before they open the flood gates and let the big boys buy out the rest the next day. Basically if you want one directly from the Mint, get it on release day. https://catalog.usmint.gov/end-of-w...uct-scheduleThe gold eagle still shocks me in terms of mintage. I'm very curious how jammed the website will be that day. I doubt it will be as bad as the 2019-S ERP since the (rough guesstimate) $2500 price point will shut out a lot of collectors and casual flippers, but you know the big dealers are still going to have multiple people trying to buy this up.

75k is a pretty low mintage for an ASE. I'll get 1.

Looks like I will need to dust off my US Mint account, so I can order one to be sent to my folks address in the states.

I'm in for one for sure; two if I can get a second when/if they lift the HHL.
