Pretty sure this is just a 1966-p with Machine Doubling ,but wanted to ask the pros

@DC, first welcome to CCF. Second, that looks more like circulation damage on the bottom of the letters A and M. There might be a tiny bit of MD on the letters though.

Yes, MD on the sides of "STATES" and PMD on the bottom of "AMERICA"..keep looking, have fun and good luck on future finds.... to CCF and keep asking any and all questions you may have (nice photos by the way).....

Note all the affected areas you are looking at are lower/incuse on that area of the devices. MD causes lowering of the devices on the edges of the devices. (often all in the same direction)

The shelving is on every letter of US of
It actually looks like the DDR example but the shelving of the MD is on the opposite sides..
The angles on the pics didn't do it justice

On a side note , if you turn the coin around there's another side
And it may be a DDO?
