I see a few small nicks on the eagle's throat but practically no other marks. Liberty's head detail is pretty good but is flat in the center and the hair line is incomplete, so it won't make FH. I think it grades at least MS-65 and MS-66 should be possible. With the exceptionally lovely toning NGC must have hung a star on this one! Report this Post to the Staff

I believe the nicks on the throat are actually as minted......here's a pic of another coin that shows similar details. I would have graded the images ms65 to ms66, but would not have been sure whether I was seeing toning breaks or marks. Report this Post to the Staff
