1990 D Nickel Errors? - Coin Community Forum

82dAirborne New Member United States 9 Posts	Posted 02/26/2020 5:44 pm I came across this coin while coin roll hunting. I have several questions about features on this coin. One is the lamination condition. As you can see the texture is very strange, what could cause this? Secondly, I noticed that the lettering seemed much narrower than a regular nickel. Is this an error, and if so what type? I am new and don't know a lot about such things and would appreciate some opinion from people who are knowledgeable about such things.
