I just know this has to be DD. GOD on obverse dd. On Reverse the only thing I see is a kinda deep strike on the O in Monticello and not so deep strikes just below the N left side. my issues are getting good pics Also the weight, I've weighed it 20 times and 18 of them 4.9 other two 5.0

It is seldom that just one area of hub doubling shows and the rest of the devices look normal on a doubled die. So why would some devices look wider and others look thinner? It happens that way on an over polished die. The affected devices will be smaller in size. So it the wider looking devices on GOD looks enlarged, check to see if the other devices are reduced.

That is the only thing I can think of that would alter just certain devices size.

Keep in mind that the area near the top of the head can be part of a clash on a die, thus when polished out, the fields will be reduced, leaving the devices looking smaller.

All the lettering looks the same size. The N in IN has a perfect line on on left side and the G in God there's a line on inside at the bottom and on top on the outside I don't see where it looks like a step What causes that line ?
