Really hard to photo because it runs half on field then half on memorial then through the "G" in "FG". I don't see any "pushed metal" so I'm thinking struck through. mikediamond Pillar of the Community United States 2740 Posts	Posted 05/03/2020 1:31 pm I was asked to chime in. The most likely explanation, in my opinion, is that the coin was struck through a short filament that curled back on itself to form something resembling a circle. It's too small and too irregular to be a dropped 9 or any sort of dropped filling. Error coin writer and researcher. Report this Post to the Staff
