Nor will you. That is from a 1940 cent. The dies were not even chrome plated back then. I'd hardly call that "doubling" at all.

I'd hardly call that doubling anymore, just looks like the dies around the devices are literally chipping apart.
I have a contact at the RCM Winnipeg plant, and I will send him the link to this thread - perhaps he can shed some light on the doubling you are seeing.
