I'm new to the hobby and just searched through my first $25 box of pennies.

Hoping for some help identifying this one as it doesn't look like any other 1982 penny I could find. Thought it was a plating issue, but it is copper per the weight (3.1g). There is a silver metal streak on the front left of the penny as shown in the photos.

Is this anything special?

@Yngwie, first welcome to CCF. Second, the filled mintmark is a result of a broken post on the die that was used to strike this coin. It is a fun find but adds no value to the coin.

Plus, I'm thinking zinc dust under the plating.
