Neat, but it's a 21 morgan. I harbor some dislike for them so I can't appreciate this one nearly as much.

I'm impressed, but not awed. $15K opener, no CAC?

Pretty rare to see that kind of colorful toning on a 1921 Morgan, but still hard to justify the price.

You are exactly right, colorful toning on a '21 is extremely rare. I'm not going to be a buyer but if you are putting together a high grade toned set...crazier things have happened!

With today's economic conditions it will come nowhere near the 15K$ open.

Should have stayed in the PCGS holder... IMO

Well it's got the PCGS pedigree, clearly the same coin, so I don't think the holder matters a whole lot. The fact both NGC and PCGS thought it was 67 probably adds to the value.

Quote: Screams.. DIP ME! That thing is seriously fugly. The legendary toning terrorist returns! TBH I think it has positive eye appeal overall, it's sadly a 21' morgan though. I've never seen a "nice" 21 morgan. Ever.

Looks like it didn't sell in DLRC's auction #1111.
If I remember, the 'open' was at 15K$. No one met the open.
It's now back up on the website gathering dust with an asking price of 16.5K$! It's gonna be there for a while, too!
