As I was searching through a roll of dimes, my first time ever I saw something pretty interesting. It was a 2017 dime, but it seemed copper. In this image below I show you the copper dime sitting next to a regular one. How much is it worth?
It's hard to tell from your very small photo, but when copper colored dimes or quarters are found, it's usually due to environmental damage. Often they've been buried in the ground for a while and then dug up by metal detector users. All cupro-nickel or cupr0-nickel clad coins tarnish like this when they are buried.
