So I've been coin roll hunting (just once) this is my first real time doing it, and it was a total waste. All of the rolls, except for one of them had already been searched, and were all the same date. How do I get coin rolls that aren't searched, because the coin rolls were labeled with dates, like 1968 etc, here is pic:

Ask.
Problem is, if a customer drops off some rolls the bank has to crack them open to ensure that rolls are complete.

Honestly, I don't think that is as bad as you make it out to be.. depending. Looks like you may have gotten someones turned in copper stash/coin collection if the rolls were dated from the 60's like the pictured roll. As far as getting rolls, it can be a crap shoot. Your best bet is sealed boxes from coin rolling companies if your bank gets coins that way.

~edit.

Don't give up after your first hunt! Sometimes you get skunked, its apart of the game. You'll get a good hit eventually!

@ty88ty2
I hope you can see this, I have a few questions.
1. Do you have to call the bank in advance, or ask them for a box? Does Chase bank have one? If that's what you go to,
2. Are there any banks that you can go in and get coin rolls/boxes without an acount?

The only way to ensure you're getting unsearched rolls is to luck upon mint rolls, it is possible but very rare. Sometimes one can stumble across uncirculated rolls coming direct from the bank armored service, but those are usually brand new coins.
I also used to treat the bank as a coin shop; it's not.
You need to do the foot work, by establishing at least a half dozen accounts.
You can't base your success on a couple rolls, come back after you've searched a few thousand dollars in coin.
Key to successful roll hunting is searching volumes.
