The person selling this raw gold coin states the condition as "About Uncirculated (AU) - Very Lightly Cleaned". The "Very Lightly Cleaned" part is a bit obfuscated.

What do you all think?

I don't see any obvious red flags, and I presume the weight is correct. But I think this is closer to XF details from polishing.

Surfaces on the rev look seriously worked on, almost like marks or graffiti were removed.

"Very Lightly Cleaned," is code for scrubbed hard. Looks real though.

Seller states the coin is a Type 1 and the weight is 33.436 grams. Asking price is $2500 USD.

edweather thank you for the laugh ("Very Lightly Cleaned," is code for scrubbed hard.) I really needed it.

The reverse looks like muddled plasticine to me from these photos.
Heavily cleaned. Wouldn't buy this coin at all.

From photos the coin look genuine, but unless you know counterfeit depression and tool marks gold can be very tricky and the coin has had a cleaning maybe to hide counterfeit issues. I agree with Conder101 as the surfaces looked worked on and maybe some putty added. On gold stick to TPG's until you are skilled at identifying gold counterfeits.

I think that the seller is asking $1000 too much for a bullion coin. It's not worth wasting your time on.
