Hi good people...hope all is well...stay home.

I was noticing that on some of the Nickels I'm going through have the FS initial and some don't.

What's the history of This?

Not errors correct?

1990 D was a good example. The initials were missing, do to etheir a Grease Fill or from overpolishing of the die.

Thank you all and ijn1944...thank you for that link. Sour, to be clear, the initials were not added till 1966? Is that what I'm reading?

I was asking this because I was going through some of my uncerculated sets.
