Last photo of the night,

I have 2 1982 pennies. One appears to have doubling on the E in We, I haven't seen any notches. What can you tell me about this penny?
Zinc?
Large date?

Well three of these images are the same. (the lighter colored ones.) You can see the damage on the 'E' the same on all three of them. Other than that they are normal 1982 Large dates and probably copper.

@ss513, if you can post the weights, we can tell you whether they are copper-plated zinc or copper.

It helps to post one coin (with specific questions) at a time. Both cents shown are large date, the weights will tell you if they are zinc or copper. Neither large dates are rare.

All look large date. Weight for copper is 3.1 grams and for zinc 2.5.

The answer to your question: Is this even a penny? The answer is no. The U.S. Mint never made Pennies. They only made Cents. England had Pennies. Only non collectors call that. Collectors call them what they they really are. Cents!
