@huck, for sure 1919 was a long time ago, but we characterize all Lincoln cents as "modern" so I've moved your thread to the correct subforum. You will want to add a pic of the reverse of this coin to this thread to get an accurate grade.

Can we see a photo of the reverse? It looks like a G-4 to me, but the reverse will help determine that.

The obverse looks closer to a G but the reverse is borderlined VG. In my opinion of course.

I'm thinking like river4449... The obverse is very rough, G-5 or even borderline AG, but the reverse is much better, like VG-20.
