Found a few of these but this is the best example. Is this a doubled die or different kind of error? Thanks for any help or info

@RW, ok thanks for the clarification. While it is odd for sure that those linear marks seem to extend directly up from the top middle window frame, I think that they are damage. There is similar damage on the top left window frame, but offset a little bit. There are also other marks which make me think that it is all just circulation damage.

Thanks Spence. It looks like a third window and roof line on the first photo. Looks slightly rotated

Ok yes it is fair to push back. My thought is that it is damage, but let's see what others think when they see this thread.

Are these mark incuse? Or are they raised? What we have been seeing on DDRs on these design coins are raised areas that normally is not raised. To me an incuse mark would denote damage to the coin. There is a lot of affected areas near the corner of the roof, and on the roof line with incuse marks. So I'm not sure what is going on yet in this coin. But damage does come to mind first to me.

Do you see any extra rocks by any chance? It would be a definite DDR then. I am seeing damage on the roof.

Thanks coop. It appears to be incuse but the regular windows look like they have varying degrees of raised/incuse areas. So the doubling could be raised or incuse I would think. Just wanted to get some expert opinions before sending off to get attributed

Thanks errors&varieties. I dont even look for stones in window. Thought this might be refreshing to see something other than that. Too many stones in window varieties for me. I dont hate the variety just doesn't interest me. To each their own
