It's not a Die Crack. My first thought was that it was a scratch or gouge. But it might be a struck thru. Is this coin yours? Post a picture of the entire coin, front and back.

I honestly think it's a struck through error.

I went through the same thought process as you @USSID18. It would be nice to get overall pics of the coin to help confirm if it is struck through. I'm still worried that the section between the letter S and Liberty's crown shows some metal "smushed" up along the edge.
